Clyde Howard McNamee, III, 42, a resident of Chattahoochee, Florida, passed away November 28, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Howard was born July 22, 1977 in San Leandro, California; the son of Preston Edward Snook, III and Nora McNamee. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a graduate of Chipola College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of West Florida. Howard retired due to illness, after a short time at Florida State Hospital as a UTRS worker. He was a kind-hearted, and generous man. Howard was a wonderful son, dedicated husband and loyal friend. Howard was a kind and gentle person who loved animals. He enjoyed spending time with the family he cherished so much. Howard will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors include his precious wife, Selisa Nessmith McNamee of Chattahoochee; his mother, Nora Denham of Sneads; father and mother in law, Richard and Jean Nessmith of Sneads; brother in law, Jordan Nessmith of Sneads; three aunts, Patty McNamee (George), Michelle Weeks, and Dianne Allen; cousins, Jess McWilliams, Daniel Young (Madeline), Stormie Rogers, and Kevin Brady; best friend, Gene Arnold (Victoria) of Chattahoochee; as well as many other extended family members and friends that loved Howard very much.
Howard was preceded in death by his father, Preston Edward Snook, III; a friend, Brad Gorley; and his beloved Boston terrier, “Romeo”.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM Eastern Time at McAlpin Funeral Home in Sneads, FL with Rev. Juno Douglas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy, FL.
