Carol Ann Lewis, age 75, of Sneads, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Marianna.
Carol was born on August 4, 1946 in Fernandina Beach, FL to the late Glenn and Myrtle Smith. She worked several years for Sneads Police Department as their dispatcher. Carol loved taking care of her grandkids, and also enjoyed reading and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Smith; and nephew, Ikey Perkins.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Erika Carnes and husband, Tim of Sneads; grandchildren, Nicholas Hunt and Olivia Carnes both of Sneads. She is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Jessie Smith of Sneads; nieces and nephews, Gary Smith and wife, Rhonda of Marianna, Becky Jackson and husband, John of Grand Ridge, Stephen Smith and wife, Chasity of Cypress, Vanessa Perkins of Marianna, and Michelle Wiggins and husband, Mike of Marianna; great nieces, and great nephews; Lauren Smith and Kaleb Mock of Panama City, Anna Jackson of Sneads, Alex Perkins, Grace Perkins both of Marianna, and Jase Smith of Cypress; great great nephews, Kove Mock and Brady Beauchamp.
Funeral services for Carol will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Sneads Assembly of God Church with Reverend Dr. Juno Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Pope Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
