Alta M. Henry, 83, of Graceville, Florida went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 29, 2021.
Born in Cedartown, Georgia June 10, 1938, to the late Seab Jarrell and Willie Mae Weddington Jarrell. Mrs. Alta became a resident of Graceville six years ago at the Signature Healthcare of North Florida. A Bible believing born again Christian, Mrs. Alta was a fun-loving devoted mother, grandmother and prayer warrior.
A Home-going service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Chitty officiating. Burial will follow in Esto Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, 10 a.m. until time of service.
Preceded in death by her husband’s Donald Green and Essry Henry, three brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Alta is survived by her 8 children, Donna Sisson, Melissa Kiputh, Berinda Shiver (Gary), Barry Green, Angela Penton, Charlie Green (Claudette), Rhonda Majors, Cheryl Harry (Jeff), thirty grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
