Ronald Earl Hussey

Ronald Earl Hussey, 78, of Marianna entered into eternal rest Friday, August 20, 2021 at Marianna Health and Rehab. 

Ronald was a native and life long resident of Marianna, Florida. He was born October 16, 1942 to Emmett and Annie Ruth Hussey. Ronald served in the United States Navy for four years. After completing his service, he began his career with the State of Florida at Dozier, then Florida State Hospital. He was an avid member of the Elks for many years, holding many offices in the local lodge and district. Ronald was a loyal fan of Nascar and especially Dale Earnhardt Jr. 

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Annie Ruth Hussey. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Norma Hussey; three children, Julie Wright (Allen), Sonya Wicker (Roy), Allan Williams (Rhonda); 11 grandchildren, Christie Cosper (Kevin), Jason Wright (Amy), Melissa Rich (Jesse), Devon Lane (Mike), Brittany Ball, Hannah Williams, Ashley Williams, Gillian Williams, Luke Morris, Macy Morris, and Charlie Thigpen; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie Hussey (Betty), and Leon Hussey (Judy). 

Due to COVID, funeral services will be private, with a private interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. 

The family would like to thank Marianna Health and Rehab for the excellent care received.  

Family is accepting short visitations at home, with respect to COVID guidelines.  In lieu of Flowers, please consider making a donation to any charity for veterans.

Mr. Willie Barkley, age 66, of Greenwood, FL went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 20, 2021 at his home.

Bonnie K. Dilmore, 77, of Marianna died Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in Marianna. She was born September 29, 1943 in Iowa. Bonnie was a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, drawing, art work and was an avid reader. She leaves behind her special care givers, Marcia Adkins, Covenant Hospice, Dr. Steven Spence @Internal Medicine, Signature Health Care at the Courtyard Staff.

Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10 AM at Riverside Cemetery with Minister Helen Dawson officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

James Michael “Jimmy” Wheeler

James Michael “Jimmy” Wheeler, age 57, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his residence.

Known by many as Jimmy, he lived an extraordinary life. Jimmy always had a passion for riding motorcycles and when he was younger, he loved hunting. He will forever be remembered and in our hearts.

Jimmy is survived by two sons, Michael Wheeler and wife, Alicia of Franklin, New Hampshire and Kenneth Wheeler and wife, Kelsie of Wausau, Florida; seven grandchildren, Mj, Ahlia, Sean, Harmony, Eryk, Jaime, and Bentley; two sisters, Deberah and Diane; and his lifelong friend since moving to Marianna, Kenneth Grantham.

No service are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

William R. Cole, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Jackson Hospital at the age of 79.

William was born September 16, 1941 in Dix, Illinois. He was a Resort Manager, most recently working for the Wakulla County Recrational Department.

No local services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. William Pittman Jr.

Mr. William Pittman Jr., of Tallahassee, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, August 14, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 12:00 Noon EST from the sanctuary of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, located at 224 North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida with burial in the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Marianna, Florida.

Mr. Pittman will lie in state at the church from 11:00 AM EST until time for the service.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM CST at Vann Funeral Home.

Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance regarding masks and social distancing will be followed for the safety of the family and those who attend the viewing and graveside service.
