Mr. J. B. Musgrove

Mr. J. B. Musgrove, age 86, of Altha, FL passed away Saturday, December 26, 2023, at his home in Altha. J.B. was born on February 1, 1937, in Altha, FL to Jesse Musgrove and Rachael Phillips Musgrove and had lived in Altha all his life. J.B. loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, gardening and visiting friends. Most of all he truly loved his family. He was a member of the Camp Head assembly of God Church. J. B. was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Musgrove and Rachael Phillips Musgrove, two brothers, Tommy Phillips and Jimmy Musgrove. Survivors include nephew: Kevin Musgrove and his wife, Jackie of Altha, FL, two nieces: Melissa Murphy and husband, Hudson of Pensacola, FL, Cathy Scott of Grand Ridge, FL, great Nephew: J.K. Musgrove and his wife, J. Larin of Altha, FL, several other Family Members. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 12:00 pm (Noon) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dewayne Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Chipola Cemetery in Altha, FL. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 11:00 am (CST) until 12:00 pm Noon (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
