Mr. Ivan Nelson, of Cottondale, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Friday, September 15, 2023, at his residence.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of Henshaw Chapel AME Church located at 2730 Glastel Street in Cottondale, Florida 32431, where Bishop Marquez Alexander, officiating.
Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Interment will be in the Bethlehem AME Church Cemetery in Cottondale, Florida.
Mr. Nelson will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Wife: Zina Nelson of Cottondale, Florida
Two Daughters: Tre’mea Nelson of Marianna, Florida and Shauntia (Brad) Elias of St. Petersburg, Florida
And a host of brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
