George Beachum better known as “Tootsie” age 74 of Graceville, FL passed away Monday at the Graceville Health Center in Graceville, FL surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 24th at the Shira, Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL with Rev. Earnestine Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paul/New Bethel Cemetery located at 5180 Hwy 273 Campbellton, FL with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.
Public viewing for family and friends will be held from 4- 6 p.m. Friday, June 23rd at the Shira, Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel.
George “Tootsie” Beachum was born in Campbellton, FL on November 26, 1948, to the late Shack Beachum and Ruby Barksdale. He accepted Christ at an early age, and he loved the Lord.
He worked primarily as a laborer at the Gold Kist Peanut Mill in Graceville, FL and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his grandson: Taylor Beachum.
He leaves his love and a lifetime of cherished memories with his wife: Ida Mae Beachum; children: Shalonda and George Wesley Beachum; grandchildren: Shawaun Dortch, Aaliyah Dortch, Jared Beachum, Christian Myrick and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
