Ervin Lowe was born on September 3, 1934, in Jewel Ridge, Virginia and passed away on April 17, 2024. He was the beloved son of Thomas and Cora Lowe.

Ervin’s life was marked by service, love, and dedication to his country. He met his first wife, Grace Lowe, during his military service, and together they raised five remarkable daughters. In retirement, Ervin moved to Marianna, FL, where he had a compassionate spirit that shone brightly as he volunteered with Chipola Ministries, the local animal shelter, and his church. He was always eager to assist wherever he was needed. He expressed his love for friends and family through his culinary talents, delighting his guests with hearty breakfasts, decadent holiday treats, and abundant feasts, making sure everyone was cared for before himself.

Ervin found joy in the simple pleasures of tending to his garden filled with fruits, vegetables, and his overflowing flowerbeds. His passion for sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers, was unwavering as he never missed an opportunity to cheer them on.

Ervin was proceeded in death by his grand-daughters, Rachel Beth Drobniewski and Chloe Elise Drobniewski; his parents, Thomas and Cora Lowe; his brothers, Bill Lowe, Orastus (Ras) Lowe, Raymond Lowe, Claude Lowe; as well as his sisters, Jeanette Anderson, Dorothy (Dot) Sayers, Marie Kinder.
