Emalene Stephens Hatcher, 80, of the Cypress Grove Community, Grand Ridge, Florida died Thursday, August 24, 2023 in Marianna.
Emalene was born August 18, 1943 in Jackson County to Jeff and Carlene Peacock Stephens. She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing. Emalene was a longtime member of Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church.
Besides her parents, Emmalene is preceded in death by her husband, Millard Hatcher; a brother, T. J. Stephens; grandson, Dustin Calevro.
Survivors include her son, Dillion Hatcher (Dianne Saunders); sister, Linda Gates; special nephew, Jerome Hobbs and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Monday, August 28, 2023 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Eva Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Cypress Grove Assembly of God Cemetery with James & Sikes Maddox Chapel directing.
Visitation will be at 10 am Monday, one hour prior to the funeral at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
