Cherryl Holley Chaffee 85, of Cottondale, Florida went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2023, at Jackson Hospital.
Cherryl was born on August 30, 1938, in Kynesville, Florida to Woodrow Holley and Marie Barnes. Cherryl had been a resident of the Florida Panhandle since 1995 coming from Amelia, Louisiana. She was a faithful member of Cottondale First Assembly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Woodrow and Marie Holley; husband: Robert Chaffee; sons: George Richard Merchant, Lyndall Barry Merchant.
She is survived by her sister: Jean Vickery of Marianna, Florida; brother: Phillip Barnes Holley (Elaine) of Cottondale, Florida; 2 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a nieces and nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
