Mrs. Catherine Roulhac McElroy of Marianna, Florida, age 107, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Chipola Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marianna, Florida.
Mrs. McElroy was a member of the Pope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served in various capacities of the church. She received her education and training in the Jackson County School System.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of the Pope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 4898 Blue Springs Highway in Marianna, Florida 32446 with Reverend Larry Brown (pastor), Evangelist Mary Mack, Reverend Carl Hill, and Reverend Freddie D. Roulhac officiating. Interment in the Pope Chapel cemetery. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. McElroy will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
She leaves to celebrate a lifetime of love and lasting memories, a loving and devoted family:
