Barbara Sue McIntosh, 86, passed away at her home in Sneads, FL on March 26, 2022. Services will be held at 3pm CT on Wednesday March 30, 2022, at Sneads First United Methodist Church in Sneads, FL.
Barbara was born to Arthur and Zeta Sale in Clarkton, Missouri. She married the love of her life Gary McIntosh, Sr on April 19, 1954, and together they raised 3 sons. She is preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings, and a grandson, Mac. She is survived by her husband, Gary Sr, sons Gary Jr (Lauri), Greg (Tammy), and Brad Sr (Wendy), 6 grandchildren Brad Jr (Jennifer), Meagann, Tyler (Amber), Brooke, Colton, and Abigail, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Barbara was an outgoing and caring person who showered all she met with love and compassion. She loved her family, friends, and staying involved in her community. She was an active member of the Sneads First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, serving many years as the Choir Director as well as a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Garden Club, Red Hat Society, Women’s Club, Relay for Life, and enjoyed singing and playing the piano any chance, she got.
