Tracey Lynn Johnson, 61, of Clinton, CT, an adored mother, grandmother, partner, and sister, passed away after a rich and vibrant life on June 8, 2024, in New Haven, CT. Born on July 31, 1962, in Middletown, CT, Tracey was the light and joy of her family and friends.
A proud 1979 graduate of H. K. High School in Higganum, CT, Tracey built a life full of love, learning, and laughter. She spent her years immersed in her interests, which included exploring the serene beauty of her longtime residence in Clinton and cherishing every moment with those she loved.
Tracey’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her precious mother, Jean B. Johnson of Grand Ridge, FL; her loving partner of 27 years, Keith Dutkiewicz of Connecticut; her beloved children, Jaimee Traskos (David) of Georgia and Howard B. Wilson, along with her treasured grandchild, Aiden Traskos.
Joining in her remembrance are her brothers, Gary L. Johnson (Laura) and Russell A. Johnson of Connecticut, and Douglas E. Johnson (Deborah) of Florida, her dear aunt, Mary Faulkner of Texas, and a host of nieces and nephews. Tracey was predeceased by her father, Hugh Johnson, and her sister, Bonnie J. Meyer.
Tracey Lynn Johnson’s warm spirit and enduring kindness profoundly impacted all who knew her. Her legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire us all.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Tracey will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, beginning at 9:30 AM Central Time at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Kleiser officiating.
