Sharlotte “Pris” Pickron, 66, of Wewahitchka, FL, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023. Sharlotte was born on January 29, 1957, in Gulf County to Edgar and Vera Mae Causey. Pris was a homemaker and a member of the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the sunrise from her porch, taking care of her flowers, and truly loved her grandchildren. Pris was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Causey, Vera Mae and Johnny “Gene” Armstrong, Sr., husband, Jimmer Lee Pickron, Jr., brother, Edison “Tiger” Causey, sister, Della Mae Dickens. Pris is survived by her daughters, JoAnna Palmer and Maylon of Wewahitchka, FL, Tracy Derreberry and Jonathon of Black Mountain, NC, Cindy Pickron and Anthony of Wewahitchka, FL, Diana Shields of Asheville, NC; brothers, Eugene Armstrong and Polly of Marianna, FL, William Armstrong of Wewahitchka, FL, Tommy Armstrong of Blountstown, FL, Edward Causey of Wewahitchka, FL, Edgar Causey of Wewahitchka, FL; sister, Martha Ann Wages of Wewahitchka, FL; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday October 4, 2023, at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel from 11:00 AM (CT) until 12:00 PM (CT). Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM (CT)with Reverend Eugene Armstrong and Reverend Polly Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow at Buckhorn Cemetery in Wewahitchka, FL. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
