Preston Lee Baxter, 89, of Malone, FL died Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Jackson Hospital. He was born May 4, 1934 to John Jackson “Edgar” and Leobia Baxter in Malone.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Baxter; parents; one daughter, Marie Burroughs; and two sisters, Ados Ducker and Corene Hyatt.
Preston is survived by his daughters, Terry Hatcher and Patsy Baxter; grandchildren, Melissa Anderson, Lezlie Burch and husband, Brandan, Robert Rogers; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Baxter, Bill Baxter; and one sister, Mary Stringfellow;
Graveside service will be 10 AM, Friday, February 9, 2024, at Collins Chapel with Ed Ham officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
