Mickey Woodham, 75, of the Poplar Springs Community, Graceville, Florida passed away, Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his residence following a sudden illness.
Mickey was born in Graceville on May 11, 1948, to the late Jack and Evelyn White Woodham. A 1966 graduate of Poplar Springs High School, Mickey started work with West Florida Electric Cooperative on June 6, 1966, working his way up through the years, and retiring as Chief of Engineering and Operations on August 16, 2004. Mickey loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, fishing and watching them play basketball, softball, and baseball. He also loved being outside whether it was farming, gardening, and canning. He was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his three children Jerome Woodham, Cindy Mayo, Amanda Blanton (Jason), four grandchildren Cheyenne, Jaycee, Ceianna, Brayson, brother Stanley Woodham, sister Terry Morreale (Bruce), aunt Patsy Woodham, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Bethel Baptist Church with Donald Bolden officiating. The burial will follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
The family will receive friends at the church, Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until time of the service.
