James Ernest Brown, age 39, of Altha Fl passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023. James was born on November 22, 1983, at the 121 Evac Hospital, Yongsan District, Seoul South Korea to Debra and Phillip Brown, both military on active duty. James returned to the states when he was 15 months old, living in Clarksville, Tn for a short while then in Elkhart, Indiana till he was 8 years old. He then moved to Washington, Pa until 1994 when he moved with family to Blountstown, Fl. He attended Blountstown schools from 5th grade to his High School graduation in 2002 as a member of the Honor Society, he also played football in his sophomore/junior years. He was working as a massage therapist in Panama City Beach as well as a part time cook at Beef O’Brady’s in Marianna, Fl. He also loved watching and playing ice hockey, his favorite team was Tampa Bay Lightning, and he liked the Florida Gators football team. James was also very close with his 3 best friends from school that lasted up until his death: Dustin Graham, Altha Fl, D.J. Strong, Bainbridge, Ga, and Jacob Baxter, Malone, Fl. He was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Marie Brown. He is survived by his parents, Debra Brown of Altha, Fl and Phillip Brown of Elkhart, Indiana. His wife, Holly LeAnn Kever Brown of Altha and his daughters, Charlotte Faith and Delaina Jamie Brown of Altha Fl. Memorialization was by cremation.
