Ms. Jacqueline Bennett Reddoch, age 91, of Marianna, Florida passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family after a long, love-filled life.

Jacqueline was born an only child in Salisbury, Maryland on April 1, 1932 to Donald and Esther Campbell Bennett. Her father was a Sailing Merchant on the eastern seaboard and moved to this area to work at Graham Airforce Base. She went to business school in Atlanta, Georgia, and while attending school there, she sang in Billy Graham’s choir. She returned to Marianna to make a life there. She married Wilmon Campbell Hinson who was tragically killed in a car accident. In later years, she then met her husband, William Bryan Reddoch, whom she married in May of 1966. She and her husband, Bill, owned and operated Bar R Ranch and Arrowhead Campgrounds. They also ran a chain of dry goods stores including Daffins and Thrift’s Department Store in Marianna, FL.

Jackie Jack, as she was known by her grandchildren, was a fun soul with one of her most spirited passions being her love of the ocean. One of her favorite places to be was at her beach house. She also loved her children and grandchildren endlessly. She was a beautiful person inside and out, her smile was stunning and her blue eyes would light up the whole room. She was kind and passionate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Esther Bennett; her first husband, Wilmon Campbell Hinson; husband, William (Bill) Reddoch and daughter, Elizabeth Reddoch.

Survivors include her three daughters, Debra H. Godfrey and husband, Ken of Marianna, FL, Julie H. Broxton and husband, Mark of Chancellor, AL, Leigh R. Beaulieu and husband, Don of Marianna, FL, son Tommy Reddoch of Marianna, FL; grandchildren, Lesley Shelton (Brent), Amy Godfrey, Samantha Miles, Robert Hoff, Bryan Moore (Jordan), Katie Moore, Michelle Reddoch, Billy Reddoch and Tracey Reddoch; along with thirteen great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Ms. Reddoch will be Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Riverside Cemetery with Brent Shelton officiating and Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Marianna at 2898 Jefferson St. Marianna, FL 32446.

The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone at Covenant Hospice and Dr. Joe Gay.

Jackie Jack was a strong fighter, but she is now sailing on a journey to shores that we cannot see. We know that she is free from pain and is floating peacefully with her loved ones that have gone on before us in turquoise waters of her dreams.

She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.
