Gina Mae Colón gained her heavenly wings suddenly on Monday, March 4, 2024.
She was born February 13, 1989, in Manchester, CT, to Rafael and Theresa Colón. Affectionately called Gigi, by her friends and family, she was a kind and loving soul. There is no doubt that taking care of children was Gina’s calling and she loved every minute she got to spend with little ones. Eli Grant, her “Little Turkey” loved his Titi, as did all her nieces and nephews.
Gina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jeanette and Herschel Andrews, Felicita and Demetrio Colón, and brother, Kia Colón.
She is survived by her parents, Rafael Colón and Theresa Colón; brothers, Billy Ray Colón, Rafael Colón; sisters, Tammy Colón, Amanda Colón, Katherine McClelland, Charla O’Bryan; daughter, Lura Kay Ann Getz; the love of her life, Alanna Lucille Williams; nieces, Hailey Williams, Harley Walker, Harmony Walker, Anabella Colón, Brooklyn Colón; nephews, Hendry Colón, Ryker Hall, and Ranger Baxley; along with a host of other nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private service with burial to follow with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
