Geraldine A. Wilkinson, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, April 10 2024 at Jackson Hospital.
Geraldine was born March 2, 1945 in Alford, Florida and was the daughter of the late Dink and Eloise White. She was a lifelong resident of Cottondale, Florida and attended First Assembly of God Church and most recently, Cords of Love Assembly of God Church. Her favorite title was “Mimi” to her loving grandchildren and “Aunt Sissy” to her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her late husbands, Willie Floyd Hendrix and Charles Anderson; son, Floyd Dalton Hendrix; brothers, Jimmy White, Ronnie White, Gary White and James “Bud” White; sister, Bertha Blackman Gay and daughter-in-law, Debbie Anderson.
Geraldine is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Chucky Anderson (Jennifer) of Cottondale, Greg Anderson of Marianna, Roger Wilkinson (Jackie) of Sneads, David Wilkinson (Megan) of Alford, Donna Gallesgo of Chicago; sister, Carlene Land (Bucky) of Alford; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved dearly; two nieces that were like her daughters, Brenda Cushing and Vickie Adkins; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2024 at Cords of Love Assembly of God Church with Reverend Lloyd Laycox officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
