Gary Lee Knight, age 76, of Grand Ridge, Florida passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Gary was born to Jack and Betty Knight in New Lexington, Ohio on September 19, 1947. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1969 and served in the Vietnam War before becoming a recruitment officer for eleven years. After retiring from the military, he drove trucks delivering cargo for seventeen years. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family and loved watching Nascar.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Teddy Knight; sister, Nancy Knight and his son, Ryan Knight.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia Knight; mother, Betty Knight; sons, Justin Knight and Gary Knight, and his daughter, Michelle Lynn. Gary is also survived by his brothers, Jack, Danny and Jimmy; sisters, Judy, Bonnie, Cherry, and Patty.
A private family service will be held at a later date with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
