Daniel Wayne Stephens, age 37, of Marianna, Florida, passed away from heart failure, Thursday, December 22, 2022. Daniel was born February 23, 1985, in Jackson County to Charles Wayne and Becca Williams Stephens. Daniel grew up in the Hasty Pond Community and enjoyed farming and cattle. He never met a stranger and his gift for gab was enjoyed in several counties. Big “D” as he was known, enjoyed fishing, cattle sales, and attending Claire’s Cow Shows. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Wayne Stephens. Survivors include, Mother, Becca Stephens, brothers, Jason (Gail) Stephens and Bradley (Olivia) Stephens, grandparents, Lester and Helen Williams and Barbara (Danny) Cox, niece Hayley, nephew Ben, very special niece, Claire, uncles, aunts, cousins, and more friends than can ever be listed. Family will receive friends at 10:00 AM (CST) Friday December 30, 2022, at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown, FL. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM (CST) with Rev Roland Gilliland and Rev Dewayne Tolbert officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
