Belvelon Felecia Bryant age 63 of Jennings, LA and formerly of Jackson County, FL passed away Sunday April 23rd at her resident in Jennings, LA

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 6th at St. John M. B. Church located 3903 Missouri Road Marianna, FL with Pastor Alonzo Wilburn, Rev. Napoleon Cotton, Rev. Carlton Cotton and Minister Lonnie Gilbert eulogist officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.

A public viewing for family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday May 5th at the Shira Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL.

Belvelon Felecia Bryant affectionately known as “Bel” was born June 8, 1959 raised in Campbellton, FL to the late Guy Lee Bryant and Emma Allen Bryant Tillman.

Belvelon was of the Baptist faith and at an early age joined Holyneck Missionary Baptist Church in Campbellton, FL under the Pastoral leadership of Rev. J.B. Baldwin, where she served as a choir member.

Belvelon was educated in Jackson County, FL School system and was a 1978 graduate of Marianna High School. She was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time crocheting and making special gifts of people. She loved watching WWF (wrestling) on Friday and Saturday nights. Belvelon was kind-hearted, caring and always wore a beautiful smile. She had an amazing gift to remember family member’s birthday.

She was married to Joseph Mitchell, after their separation she relocated to Jennings, LA where she remained until God called her home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Lee Bryant, maternal grandparents Lonnie and Leila Allen, stepfather James Tillman and two brothers Michael Allen and James Hubbard.

She is survived by her loving mother Emma Lee Tillman of Marianna, FL. Her siblings Marsheila Tillman and Jeffery Hubbert both of Columbia S. C., Four aunts Louvina Cotton (Edward) of Marianna, FL., Louise Pickett of Campbellton, FL., Claddie Gilbert (Edward) of Malone, FL., and Nellie B. Speights of Greenwood, FL. A special and devoted friend Harold Arceneaux of Jennings, LA., God son Minister Lonnie Gilbert (Kiandra) of Marianna, FL., two special cousins (like sisters); Ira Brown of Ozark, AL., Betty Johnson of Cottondale, FL., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, adoptive step children and step grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
