Belinda Carol Harris, age 60, of Marianna, FL passed away July 4, 2023, at her home. Belinda was born July 27, 1962, to Thomas Franklin and Alice Nell Harris in Quincy, FL. Belinda had a profound love for Adam West’s Batman, but she was and will always be a Coal Miner’s Daughter. Loretta Lynn was in her heart, and when Belinda sang her songs, you could feel it in her soul. She loved and adored everyone at Habilitative Services, the agency that had served her since leaving Sunland. She was a stickler for routine and being on time and would let you and everyone else know if you were late. Although they divorced, her true love was and will always be Gordon, whom she met at Sunland. For 25 years and through their ups and downs, they remained committed to each other until life and health got in the way, with both needing outside support to meet their needs. She loved and adored her family, especially her little sister, Millie, who had been her rock, her protector. Millie’s loyalty and support is what has kept Belinda going strong for so long. She enjoyed holidays with her brother, Tommy, and sister-in-law Darlene; and never missed an opportunity to spend time with her older sister, Phoebe. Belinda was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Harris, mother, Nell Goff, and her brother, Archie Eugen Harris. She is survived by her sisters, Phoebe Hiers and Ricky of Bristol, Millie Sullivan and Ronnie Terry of Altha; brothers, Tommy Harris and Darlene of Telogia, Eddie Baggett of Blountstown; Aunt, Hazel Capps of Blountstown. Family will receive friends and relatives Thursday July 6, 2023, at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 PM CT until 7:00 PM CT. A graveside service will be held Friday July 7, 2023, at 9:00 AM CT at Lake Mystic Cemetery in Bristol, FL with Reverend Jason McCoy officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
