Aletha Medina, 68, of Blountstown, FL passed away Wednesday July 12, 2023. Aletha was born July 7, 1955, in Coquille, OR to Dorothy Ross and Norman Ralph Smith. Aletha was a United States Army veteran who served all across the world for 4 years. Aletha loved knitting, gardening, and most importantly, God and her family. She also enjoyed assisting Mrs. Janet Edewaard in the direction of many musicals at Blountstown High School. She was preceded in death by her husband Efrain G. Medina. She is survived by her daughters, Clarissa Medina, Alexandria Medina, Jamie Medina and Ashley Medina, sons, Efrain Medina and Jonathan Medina, grandchildren Emilio Medina and wife Erin Medina, Maile Medina, Nickole Medina, Dee Medina-Dykes, Clara Walters-Medina, Jacob Medina, Cappi Jr. Medina, Dakota Bates, Ellie Bates and Addison Reese and great-grandchildren Bralyn Medina, Harper Medina, Aiden Medina, and Caroline Medina. There will be a Celebration of Life held at RCC Blountstown on July 20, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. CST. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and prayers and Rivertown Community Church for hosting the Celebration of Life.
