Elizabeth Carlene Carter, 88, of Graceville passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, in Dothan, AL.
Elizabeth was born on December 10, 1934 in Nashville, TN to the late Carl Sturdivant and Julia Simmons. She had been a resident of Graceville since 1973 coming from Miami, Fl. Elizabeth worked many years at Vanity Fair of Graceville in janitorial. She was of the Christian faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her eldest son Wayne Paul Carter.
Elizabeth is survived by her children; Joseph Alan Carter of Newport News, VA, William Keith Carter of Cottondale, FL, and Barbara Little of Slocomb, Al, brother Robert Paschall of Santee, CA, grandchildren Kim Carter of Graceville, Katie Carter of Graceville, Kylie Carter of Graceville, Angela Crosby of Tallahassee, Eric Little of Dothan, AL, Kristie Danciu of Simpsonville, SC, Bryan Carter of Harriman, TN, Amanda Mercer of Harriman, TN, Heather Yates of Cottondale, Justin Carter of Las Vegas, and Faith Russell of Cottondale.
A memorial service for Elizabeth will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, January 13, 2023, at Williams Funeral Home with Teretha Olds officiating.
