Mrs. Flettie Lee Pittman-Winston age 91 of Rome, NY, formerly of Campbellton, FL
passed away Monday November 15, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving
family.


Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 22 th at the Shi’ra Sr. and
Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located 5304 Bowden Hill Campbellton, Florida
with Reverend Wintrell Pittman officiating, interment followed in the St. John Cemetery
with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, Florida directing.


Sister Flettie Lee Winston was born May 17, 1930 in Campbellton, FL to the late Joshua
and Maudie (McKinnie) Pittman.

She gave her life to Christ at a young age and joined St. John AME Church.

She moved to Queens, NY where she met and married Mr. Joseph Winston.

She moved to Brooklyn, NY and became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where
she served as Deaconess and Trustee.

She moved to Rome, NY and became a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
Sister Winston was a woman of God that loved the Lord and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Aaron and Hezekiah Pittman;
brother-In-Law: Culley Olds and grandchild: Jamaine Winston.


She is survived by her Children: Alcena (Lynn) Winston and Katherine (Rafael) Ortiz;
Two sisters: Katrina Olds and Kathleen L. Pittman;
Four brothers: Louis Robert Pittman, James (Rebecca) Pittman, Nixon Daniel (Annie
Mae) Pittman and Foy Lee (Viola) Pittman;
Three grandchildren: Tameka (Edward) Robinson, Quaahar Winston and Jabrila (Tony)
King; eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

  1. Aunt Fleetie was my favorite great auntie she had a heart ?❤️ of gold.u was an only child being raised by a single Dad I stayed with her the first part of every summer and her daughter took me the last half.iam forever grateful and I owe my shopping fetish to my cousin Denise
