Pamela “Pam” Deloris Pittman, age 67, of Marianna, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 30, 2023.
Pam was born on March 3, 1956 to the late Aretha and Elbert O’Steen in Hahira, GA. Pam moved to Marianna from the greater Tallahassee Community and has been a valued member of Jackson County for more than 30 years. Pam was a member of the Garden Club and enjoyed arts and crafts, quilting, sewing, arranging flowers, canning and fishing. She was a member of Evangel Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Pam is survived by her step son, George Dean Pittman and wife, Peggy of Altha, FL; step daughters, Barbara Gilley and husband, Danny of Greenwood, FL, Lisa Williams and husband, Edward of Mobile, AL, and Darlene Meredith of Tampa, FL; brother, Tyrone “Ty” O’Steen of Valdosta, GA; six grandchildren, Brandon Mathew Johnson, Zachery Baya, Mason Johnson, Lindsey Hodskins, Trey Williams, Breanna Lewis as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside funeral services will be 10 A.M., Wednesday, June 5, 2023 at Sims Cemetery with Dr. Reverend LaVon Pettis officiating and Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at Sims Cemetery.
