Mr. Troy B. Shack, Sr.’s life came to an end at Valley Medical Center in
Renton, Washington on November 11, 2021.


Mr. Shack was born in Saint Petersburg, Florida to Bernice Mitchell and the late Wilbert
B. Shack. He was a 1990 graduate of Marianna High School. He attended Chipola
College for a short term before he began his military career in the United States Army.
Mr. Shack received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A & M University and Delmar
College in Corpus Christi, Texas in Academics and Accounting.


A Service of Memory will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM from
the sanctuary of the New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church located at 2870
Barnes Street in Marianna, Florida with Pastor Gregory Gathers, Minister Hardy Hill, III,
Minister James Rhynes, Reverend Dennis Libert, Minister Keith Oliver, and Minister
Titus Clayton officiating.

Vann Funeral Home was in charge of the local arrangements.


He leaves to cherish his memories a loving family:

Two Daughters: Keyonis Shack of Tallahassee, Florida; and Tessa Shack of Corpus
Christi, Texas
Two Sisters: Leslie Bean of Dothan, Alabama; and Sandra Shack of Marianna, Florida
Three Grandchildren: Jonathan Shack, Jr., Alexia Wright, and Aubrey Shack
Mother-in-Law: Darlene Chederquist of Salem, Illinois
Father-in-Law: Jackie Dykes of Dallas, Texas
One Stepdaughter: Miranda Solis of Corpus Christi, Texas
Three Stepsons: Trevarr Westbrook of South Korea, Marcus Solis of Corpus Christi,
Texas, and Zechariah Guerrero of San Diego, California

One Great Uncle and Aunt: James (Doris) Chambers of Tallahassee, Florida

Four Uncles: Tommie and Clyde McClennon of Marianna, Florida; Aaron (Felisha)
McClennon of College Park, Georgia; and Wayne McClennon of Shippensburg,
Pennsylvania
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
