Mr. Carl Helms, Age 72, of Marianna passed away on Friday September 17, 2021.
He retired from Sanford Fire Dept as Lt after 25 years of service. His love of hunting and fishing brought him and his family to the area in 1998. He was a member of the Altha First Baptist Church.
Carly was preceded in death by his father Carl Reid Helms, mother Irma E. Helms, and great grand daughter Quinn M. Warner.
He is survived by a loving wife, June Helms. Four children James Warner and wife Monica of Altha, Fl, Marti Miller and husband Bill of Quincy, FL, Robert Warner and wife Jenny of Bisbee, Tn, and Rick Helms and wife Kim of Inverness, Fl. Brother Ed and wife Kathleen of Bascom, Fl. Grandchildren, Josh Warner and wife Nikki, Jacob Warner and wife Emily, Hannah Warner, Barbara and Jordan Helms. Great grandchildren, Davis, Rory and Masyn Warner and Maverick Warner.
In lieu of flowers, contribution to The American Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated, as his dear wife June of 46 years is living with the affects of this life changing disease.
Per Carl’s wishes, due to COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no formal memorial service. The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
Carly was the nicest and most willing to help person I have ever met. Rest in Peace.
