Mother Bessie Lois Isom Battle of Blountstown, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Sunday, December 5, 2020 in Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center, Panama City, Florida.

Mother Battle was a member of the Prayer Chainers Mission of God located in the Hugh Creek Community of Blountstown, Florida. To know her was to love her.

Graveside Celebration of Life services will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 1:00 PM CST in Magnolia Cemetery located at 326 13th Street in Blountstown, Florida with Bishop Dr. Adrian D. Abner officiating. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 11: 00 AM to 6:00 PM from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all state and local guidelines for social distancing will be practiced for the safety of the public and especially the bereaved family. Masks are required for the service.

Mother Battle leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond yet precious memories, her family:

Two Daughters: Minister Debra K. Abner-Jones (Minister Dennis) of Blountstown, Florida; and Brenda Washington (Joseph) of Stuart, Florida
Grandson She Raised as Her Son: Bishop Dr. Adrian D. Abner (Kaela) of Cottondale, Florida
One Sister-in-Law: Mother Mary Ann Wobbleton of Stuart, Florida
Two Brothers-in-Law: Herbert C. Battle of Blountstown, Florida; and Bradley Battle of Stuart, Florida
17 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren
And numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
