Esther Ellen Keith, age 59, passed away at her home on Monday June 6, 2022.
Ellen was born June 28, 1962, to L.D. and Lucille Walker. She came from Naples, Florida and has lived in Jackson County since 2001 and attended Evangel Church in Marianna, Florida with family. Ellen was a graduate of the Master Gardener Program; a true green thumb she was. She could have probably made a twig bloom in the dessert if given the chance. Because of this wonderful green thumb, she was a proud canner of her own fruits and vegetables. She was known for never meeting a stranger and loved all animals, most of all the farm type. Ellen’s pride and joy was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and catering for family events. Ellen was loved and adored by all that knew her. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Ellen was predeceased by her parents, L.D. Walker and Lucille Elizabeth Weese Walker.
Survivors include her faithful companion, her husband of 20 years, Richard Roberts; three daughters, Shanon Stone (JP), Crystalle Robinson (Joseph), and Stephanie Culbreath (Lance); three sons, Anthony Keith, Justin Roberts (Joelle), and Ryan Roberts (Jennifer); two sisters, Vonciel Cain (Kenneth) and Pamela G. Pichard; fifteen grandchildren, Abby, Lizzy, Nick, Caleb, Catie, Aydan, Brailynn, Chelsea, Jacob, Hayden, Hollister, Maxwell, Blake, Austin, Luke; five great-grandchildren, Tydan, Cammie, Austin, Dallas, Asher; two special friends, Beverly Robertson and Betty Grace; a host of nieces and nephews and two special pets, a dog named Xena and a cat named AlleyCat.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Hospice of your choice, the American Cancer Society or to Liver Disease Research.
A Celebration of Life will be at Ellen’s home on 6400 Reddoch Road in Grand Ridge, Florida on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 5:00 PM Central Time. All friends and family are welcome to come and celebrate Ellen’s life.
