Mr. Louis Baker, better known as Bear House, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, December 23, 2019 in Jackson Hospital.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Springfield African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 4194 Union Road in Marianna, Florida 32446 where the Reverend Hollis McClendon is pastor with Reverend Joe Tripp, Jr. officiating. Interment in the Springfield Cemetery in Marianna, Florida. Vann Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Baker will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.
A viewing will be held at Vann Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2019.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond and precious memories, a loving family:
Two Sons: Chris Baker (Michelle) and Richard Baker both of Marianna, Florida
One Daughter: Katina Baker (Andre) of Marianna, Florida
Three Grandchildren, One Great Grandchild
One Sister: Fannie Thompson (Herbert) of Tallahassee, Florida
Two Brothers: Ramon Dickens (Betty) of Cottondale, Florida; and Thomas Brown (Linda) of Orange Park, Florida
And numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
I loved Mr. Baker . My wife and I would visit him every Sunday at Chipola Nursing Pavilion in Marianna, Fl every Sunday. My Prayer go out to his family. ” Absent from The Body, Present with The LORD”.
