Watson “Sonny” Campbell, 73, passed away Tuesday August 13th, 2019 at Jackson Hospital.
A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mr Campbell resided in Jackson and Bay counties most of his life. He retired from Jackson County Road & Bridge where he drove the Low Boy and hauled heavy equipment in Jackson and the surrounding counties. He was an avid fisherman and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his mother Flo McCormick and his maternal grandmother Elizabeth Campbell.
Survivors include his wife Terry, his son Eddie and wife Stephani, his sister Virginia McCormick, his brother-in-law Tommy Cochrane, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday August 16th, 2019 at James & Sikes Funeral Home in Marianna. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm Friday until time for the funeral.
