Vanessa Ann Gillette, age 61, of Graceville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2022 in Dothan, Alabama.
Vanessa was born on October 30, 1960 to Jeannette Pearson Clemmons and Matthews James Pittman.
Vanessa was previously employed at Signature Healthcare of North Florida in Graceville, Florida.
She was Miss preceded in death by her parents; and a caring stepfather, Eddie Clemmons.
She is survived by her sisters: Pastor Shirley Jenkins (Pastor Johnny) of Port St. Joe, Florida and Faye Britt of Chipley, Florida; aunts and uncles: Northanner Johnson of Jacob City, Florida and Joann Olds of Graceville Florida, Lorene Pittman, Lena Malone both of Jacob City, Florida, Willie James Pittman (Mildred), Joe Pittman (Evelyn) all of Jacob City, Florida and Andrew Gillette (Lois) of Cottondale, Florida; her caregiver, Lisa Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A public walk-thru (observing CDC guidelines-social distancing and facial covering), will be 3-6 PM, Wednesday, February16, 2022 in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida.
A celebration of life will commence at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Jacob City, Florida with the Reverend Obadiah White and Reverend David Pittman, Sr., officiating, under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
