Travis D. Toole, 85 of Graceville entered his eternal home on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Southeast Health Medical Center following at extended illness.
Mr. Travis was born in Jackson County, FL on January 12, 1936, to the late Thamer and Lillie Ann Yon Toole. He was a 1954 graduate of Campbellton High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Travis worked as an Electrical Technician with Gold Kist Peanut Corporation for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his family and gardening. In his younger years he enjoyed baseball, bowling and fishing. His favorite pass time lately was watching boxing. He was a member of Graceville Community Church and enjoyed singing with his beloved wife.
Preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Caleb Toole, his siblings Earl Toole, Thamer “Bug” Toole, Leroy Toole, Bertha Justice and Robert Toole.
He is survived by his loving wife Glenda Toole, Graceville, son David Toole (Sherry), Cottondale, daughter Carol Laycox (Casey), Graceville; five grandchildren Maryann, Trevor, Lillie, Jamie, Karlie; five great grandchildren Rylee, Hailey, Allie, Taytum, Adalynn; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Home-going service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the Graceville Community Church with Bro. Dale Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
Family will receive friends at the church Thursday, 10 a.m. until time of service.
