Thomas Edward Ulry, age 73, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Tallahassee, FL.
Thomas was a longtime resident of Marianna, FL, and was originally of Taylor, AL. He was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of The Sanctuary Church. Thomas loved the Lord, gospel music, sports, gardening, and going on road trips. He also truly cherish his wife, Annette, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Grace Imogene (Sanford) Ulry; brother, James Cecil Ulry; grandparents, Albert and Phoebe Price and Homer and Lillian Sanford; two nephews and one great nephew.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Annette Ward Ulry; son, Thomas Shayne Ulry and wife, Wendy of Dothan, AL; daughter, Theresa “Traci” Ulry Gill and husband, Frank of Taylor, AL and Rachel Ulry Laramore and husband, Daniel of Marianna, FL; grandsons, David Anthony Ulry, Wyatt Daniel Laramore, and Dylan Wayne Laramore; granddaughter, Caitlin Renee Ulry; his many siblings, Walter Ulry of Stoutsville, OH, Juanita Kidwell and Carol Carpenter both of Thornville, OH, Sally Shirel of Collensville, OK, Ruth Underwood and husband, Paul of Egan, MN, Bonnie Jackson and husband, Jim of Londonderry, OH, Jerry Ulry and wife, Marilyn of Dunnellon, FL, Don Ulry and wife, Beth of Hopewell, OH, Betty Stein and husband, Dave of Canal Winchester, OH, and Susan Altman and husband, Chuck of Ogelvie, MN; 19 nieces and nephews, and 47 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Biggs officiating. Interment will follow the service in Madrid City Cemetery in Madrid, AL, with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1:30 P.M. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
The family request social distancing and for mask to be worn for those in attendance. Mask may be removed during the time of service.
