Thelma Jean Mayo, age 88, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Signature Healthcare at The Courtyard.
Thelma was born on June 10, 1933 in Mason, West Virginia to the late Maxwell Yeauger and Mary Francis Neal Yeauger. Thelma has been a resident of Marianna since 2002 when she retired from property management in North Miami Beach.
Her hobbies include riding Harleys, camping, playing bingo and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ashton Mayo, Sr.; her parents, one brother, Lawrence Yeauger; and grand daughter-in-law, Rachel Dill.
Thelma is survived by her daughters, Pam Dill (Virgil) of Racine, OH; Genia Lowery (Jim) of Marianna, FL; grandchildren, Jeremy Dill, Mathew Dill (Beth) as well as three great grandchildren, Olivia, Alexa, and Bryce.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
