Terry Michael Lash, 54, of Alford, Florida, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord and his parents, at his home on March 24, 2023. Terry had been suffering from several health issues over the past year. Terry was the son of James and Catherine Lash, of Marianna. Terry was a kind and gentle soul who loved his family tremendously. His daughter, Destiny Lee Lash, was his pride and joy. He doted on her throughout her life, loving her with everything in him. His kind and giving nature, humorous personality, and infectious smile and laughter are only a few of the things that made him very likable to many people he met, especially his dearest friends. Terry attended and graduated from Marianna High School in 1987 and went on to attend Chipola College. Terry eventually moved to the Pensacola, FL area and started a life with his first wife, Lisa Brown Lash. Lisa, unfortunately, passed away a few years after they were married. After a few years, he moved to Foley, AL to start a new life where he met his second wife, Brandy Lash. They began a family with the addition of a daughter, Destiny who was the apple of Terry’s eye. Terry worked as a Restaurant Manager for many years in several restaurants located in Foley and Orange Beach, Alabama. He was a strong, dedicated employer and employee until many health issues robbed his body of being able to physically function in a working environment. Terry dearly loved his work family and made many friends while there. He dearly missed serving and meeting people and being able to function and provide for his family. Terry is preceded in death by his first wife, Lisa Brown Lash of Pensacola, FL.; parents, James William Lash and Catherine Bentley Lash of Marianna, FL.; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Margaret Bentley of Shellman, GA.; paternal grandparents, William and Lillie Mae Lash of Dawson, GA.; and a brother-in-law, Aaron McGhee of Foley, AL.
Terry is survived by his estranged wife, Brandy McGhee; daughter, Destiny Lee Lash, of Alford, FL.; sister, Debbie Lash Lollie (Ronald), brother, Robert (Bob) Allan Lash, of South Miami Beach, FL., niece, Christy Lollie Brockett (Reid), great nieces, Bentley Brockett, Abbie (James) Wilkinson, and son Kobin (Kallum) of Crestview, FL., and Raigan (Logan) Tidwell of Chipley, FL; nephew, Michael Keegan Lollie (Kristen) and great nephew and niece, Bryce Ray and Gracie Ray of Lynn Haven, FL.; he is also survived by sisters-in-law, Christie McGhee (Courtney, Megan and Kyler) of Foley, AL., and Sherry Kynard ( Anna, Eric, Kamaury, Kamryn,) of Foley, AL.; niece, Casey Hudson (James) Jamey, and Jayden) of Mobile, AL. There were many very special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that Terry loved deeply, and a very special friend, Carlos Paul.
