A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Teresa Maria Carver will be held 1 p.m., on July 13, 2019, with a covered dish dinner following the service until 5 p.m., at the Madrid Assembly of God Church, 976 Decatur Road, Cottonwood, AL 36320, Rev. Jerry Harding officiating. Cards or flowers may be sent to the church by 11 a.m., Saturday. Cards can also be mailed to the church address.
Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, daughter of Eugene and Floralinda Vargas, Teresa resided in Campbellton, FL for several years with her late husband, Rev. Quillian Carver. Mrs. Teresa was a member of the “Red Hats” in Graceville and ministered monthly at Signature Healthcare of North Florida. An ordained Assembly of God Minister, Mrs. Teresa loved the Lord, taught Sunday School and spoke regularly at the Madrid Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her sons John Anthony “Tony” Petno, Tavares, FL and Nathaniel Q. Carver, Orlando, FL; one sister Gigi (Edith) Rojas, Orlando, one brother Edward Vargas, Orlando, niece Vanessa Vargas and a host of other family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, all of whom are invited to attend her Celebration of Life service.
