Tammy Powell, age 45 of Cottondale, Florida passed away on October 27, 2020 at her residence.
Tammy was born on October 23, 1975 to Danny Chambliss and Virginia Moats Chambliss. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and was a graduate of Cottondale High School’s class of 1993.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Virginia Chambliss.
She is survived by her father: Danny Chambliss of Cottondale, Florida; husband: Vernon Powell of Marianna, Florida; son: Justyn Alonso (Jeffery Tye-Alonso) of Cottondale, Florida; step-children: Cameron Powell of Marianna, Florida, Madison Powell, of Marianna, Florida; brothers: Tracy Chambliss (Gina) of Chipley, Florida, Gregory Chambliss (Denise) of Cottondale, Florida; sister: Lisa Washington of Cottondale, Florida; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
