Syble “Ann” Whitehead Trawick, age 72, of Cottondale, FL, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Jackson Hospital.

Ann was born March 1, 1949 in Jackson County, FL, to the late Walter Lee Whitehead and Florence Campbell. Ann worked as a Sewing Inspector for the Russell Corporation for many years. She was loved by many but especially by those who knew her as “MeMaw”. MeMaw has ran out of room in her house to put up another Christmas Tree, so she went to Heaven to find more space. She had a strong faith in God and enjoyed singing in the choir and loved her Church Family. She was kind, compassionate, and an extremely loving mother who was her girls saving grace many days. In her free time she loved to shop, yard-sale, antique, sewing, and making flower arrangements, but there was nothing she loved more than spending time with her grand babies and great grands! She will be missed greatly everyday by her loved ones and her extended family.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Roger Trawick; her parents, Walter Lee Whitehead and Florence Campbell; and her brothers, James Deese and Clayton Whitehead.

She is survived by her children, Chasidy Adkins and husband, Adam of Dellwood, FL, Rachael Land and husband, John of Cottondale, FL, and Charity Jones and husband, Kenny of Campbellton, FL; sister, Fannie-Mae Shouppe and husband, Jimmy of Graceville, FL. Syble is also survived by her many grandchildren, Kaleigh Stewart (Jacob), Shay Braxton (Billy), Chance Adkins (Florence), Chase Adkins (Grace), Heaven Land, Whisper Jones, Journey Land, and Weston Jones; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Sikora, Leo Stewart, Wyatt Adkins, Orabella Braxton, and Cadence Adkins; sister-in-laws, Diane Deese of Cottondale, FL, and Penny Harrison of Malone, FL; brother-in-laws, Ron Trawick of Warner Robins, GA, and Max Trawick of Dothan, AL. She also leaves behind special friends, Harley Northington, Ronnie Puckett, and Dianne Lairmore. “MeMaw” loved everyone, including all the extra kids, grandkids, great grandkids, bonus family, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services for Ann will be 10 A.M. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. James Braxton officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
