On March 26, 2022, Susan Marie Andreasen Davis (Sue), loving wife and mother of four children, passed away quietly in her sleep at the age of 90. She was born on January 16, 1932, in Greenwood, Florida to Guy Chess and Willie Hazel (Applewhite) Andreasen. On June 11, 1950, she married F. Floyd Davis. They raised four children, Freddy, Barbara, Billy and Krissy.
Sue had a heart for service and hospitality, and was always doing things to help friends, neighbors, relatives, and even strangers. She particularly loved her family and poured her life into serving and supporting them in order to help them achieve their highest potential. But more than anything else, she loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was faithful serving Him through her church.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Willie Hazel Andreasen; her husband, Floyd Davis; brother, Tommy Andreasen; and son-in-law, Larry Cranor. She is survived by her four children, Freddy (Deborah) Davis, Barbara Cranor (Stewart) Williams, Billy Davis and Krissy (Mark) Smith; six grandchildren, Ken Davis, Stacey Yates, Lawren Hadden, Mac Smith, Britney Smith and Chess Smith; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Abbey Funeral Home in Tallahassee. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Tallahassee at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
