Susan Joy Grice, 67, of Sneads, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2022, in Marianna, Florida. She was born in Quincy, Florida on December 18, 1954 to Charles Glen Hinson and Clettice Blair Hinson. Susan was a faithful Christian and member of Sneads First Baptist Church, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a kind person who loved spending time with her precious family. Susan loved flower gardening and taking care of her furry little feline friends. Susan was a woman of many talents. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Summer Grice-Wright (Josh); two sons, Coby Grice (Lisa Blocker) and Adam Grice (Cindy) (Amy Ulmer); two sisters, Sondra Rooke and Cherry Roberts; ten grandchildren, Keely, Kelsey, Lily, Cayla, Cassie, AJ, Gage, Nevin, Raelin, and Hunter; four great grandchildren, Cole, Logan, Marshall and Jameson as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended family member and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne Grice and a brother, Charles Hinson.
A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of McAlpin Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM Central Time. A time of visitation with the family will begin one hour prior to services at 10:00 AM Central Time.
