Stuart Jerome Jones, 83, of Graceville, Florida passed away on January 18, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his father Morris N Jones (PC), and his mother EL Stewart Jones (PC), sister Angelina Jones, and in-laws WC and Irma Revell, Graceville.
Stuart was a loving husband, father, son, and especially the best “Grangraddy”. He was survived by his wife Brenda Revell Jones of 47 years, daughters Emilee Jones Goforth (John), Columbus, GA, Nikki Rutko (Dan) of Bonifay, FL, Angela Michelle Jones, Graceville FL, Melise Mallory Jones of England and Kelly Jones Shiver (James) of Geneva, AL. Grandchildren Alexa Rae Jones of Columbus GA, Chloe Rogers of Graceville, FL, Alyssa Goforth of AK, Shelby Singletary of Graceville, Brenlee and Baylyn Rutko of Bonifay Jantzen and Anslee Goforth of Columbus, GA, Mark Tillis (Tish) of CO, Jordan Snead of VA. Two great grandchildren Aiden Tillis and Ava Snead.
Stuart graduated from Bay High School in 1956. He attended Chipola College before beginning his career in television in Montgomery, AL. He continued his career with the Florida Farm Bureau, Florida Peanut Producers, Ocean Graphics and Tommy Thomas Chevrolet Cadillac in Graceville. His true passion was music ministry in which he served from the age of 17 to 75.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Damascus Baptist Church in Graceville. Funeral service immediately following visitation with Rev. Brian Taylor and Rev Tom Kinchen officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
