Sneads cruises to win number seven to stay perfect on the 2019 season

The 2019 Pirates football team is having a banner year, racking up win after win, week after week. This past week, it was the Pataula Academy Panthers that was their latest victim. Sneads showed no mercy in picking up the 47-6 victory to improve their record to 7-0 heading into the playoffs.
Alonzo Hall led the Pirates on the rushing attack with one carry for 99 yards and a touchdown, followed by Seth Scott with 92 yards on four carries and two touchdowns. Calvin Stringer had four rushes for 57 yards and a touchdown. Spencer Holden and Colton Mercer made good on their short runs with each crossing into the promise land for a touchdown each.
On the receiving end of Colton Mercer’s two passes were Dylan Dawson on a 40-yard reception and Seth Scott on a 44-yard reception. Both receptions were for a touchdown.
Defensively, Seth Scott led the team in tackles with nine solo tackles and four assists, followed by Alonzo Hill with six solo tackles and three assists on the evening. Octavian Lanphere and Austin Moody each had three solo and three assists on tackles. Jatavious Townsend and Spencer Holden both had three solo tackles and two assists on the night while Dylin Bateman had three solo and one assist.
Sneads will host the Port St. Joe Sharks Friday night (tomorrow) at 7 p.m. They will be looking to make it eight in a row and move on in the playoffs. All fans and supporters are invited to come out and support the PIRATES.
