The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has turned over human remains to the medical examiner’s office that were found in Jackson County on November 18. The Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that the remains were found in the Alford community in Jackson County. They sheriff’s department is following all leads on persons reported missing over an extended period of time. They are being assisted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Mobile Crime Lab and Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
