Rubye Williams Pelt age 98 of Marianna, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Chipola Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Rubye is a native of Jackson County born in Graceville on December 1, 1922 to the late William Franklin, Sr. and Ila Williams. She was the bookkeeper for Sunland Center for many years before retiring. Rubye was a very active and the oldest member of her church; Galilee United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry Pelt, two sons Frank Cambron, and Mark Cambron, one brother Bill Williams, two sisters Dorothy Middleton, and Jean Moore.
Rubye is survived by one son Todd Cambron and wife Tomi of Dahlonega, GA, daughter-in-law Pat Cambron of Marianna, step-son Gene Wamble of Jasper, GA, step-daughter Linda Rudd of Marianna, FL, brother Pat Williams and wife Martha of Graceville, FL, four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services for Rubye will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Galilee United Methodist Church in Graceville with Rev. Don Durham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until time of service.
