Ruby Nell Herndon Bogert, 86, of Chattahoochee, Florida, died on September 7, 2021, in Tallahassee, Florida. She was born March 2, 1935, in Harbison City, Florida. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Chattahoochee.
Mrs. Bogert is survived by her sons, Harold Bogert and Douglas Bogert of Chattahoochee, Florida; a sister, Mary Herndon Atkinson and husband, Stewart of Tallahassee, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fletcher and Louise Herndon and her siblings, Betty Sue Gumanis, Annette Batchelor, and Fletcher James (Sonny) Herndon Jr.
A private family funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, with burial following at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Chattahoochee. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, (18 West Marion Street, Chattahoochee, Florida, 32324).
