Robert “Rabbit” Lee Gillman age 70 of Graceville, Fl passed away on Monday, May 1, 2019 at his home. He was born in Pike County, Kentucky on August 14, 1948 to the late Clarence G. and Maxie Blackburn Gillman. He has been a residence of Graceville for forty years moving here from Lakeland, FL. Robert served his country in the United States Army, and had worked as a welder and a mechanic for Truck Equipment Company for several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dallas Gillman, and a brother Bill Gillman. Robert is survived by four sons, Daniel Gillman of Newport, NC, Robert Gillman of Chillicothe, Ohio, Danny Gillman of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Clarence Gillman of Indian Trail, NC, daughter Roberta McCallister of Graceville, FL, brothers Teddy Gillman of Graceville, FL, Larry Gillman of Avon Park, FL, and David Gillman of Madison, AL, three sisters Matilda Howell of Auburn Dale, FL, Margaret Jones of Graceville, FL, and Naomi Miles of Troy, AL. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Services for Robert will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Salem Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cottondale, FL. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service.
